As recreations of classic cars go,
the Fiat 500 is certainly up there. On a par with the relaunch of the
Mini, the new Fiat 500 has taken an old school classic and turned it
into a modern day must-have. This small car is quirky, fun and
available in so many colour combinations it will make your head spin.

The two-cylinder, 0.9 litre TwinAir
engine in the Fiat 500 and Fiat 500C is an eco-wonder. This clever
engine offers good performance along with low emissions and excellent
fuel economy. A powerful sports car it is not, but it will give you a
fun drive.
Particularly suited to city driving,
the Twin Air engine of the new Fiat 500 range claims to offer
combined fuel economy of 68.9mpg; although with London traffic that
is a little tough to achieve. Around 40mpg on the combined cycle is
what you should realistically expect.
As well as keeping your fuel costs
down, the Twin Air engines are exempt from the London congestion
charge, making this car even more appealing to city drivers. You can
park it in even the tightest of spaces, take the top down in the Fiat
500C model and enjoy the raw, raspy sounds of the Twin Air engine –
guaranteed to make you smile every time you turn the key.
